CBF Environmental Stewards Program
The Environmental Stewards Program provides a forum for productive interaction and dialogue between various stakeholders and professionals interested in community and economic development. Environmental Stewards provide financial support for CBF activities, enables regular networking events, and helps CBF leverage outside funding to promote redevelopment projects throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Why become an Environmental Steward?
- All Environmental Stewards enjoy access to CBF's outstanding network of professionals and resources, including attending complimentary networking events, workshops, and discounts on the state conference.
- All Environmental Stewards are listed in the CBF Brownfields Resource Directory published both in the Colorado Brownfields Conference Program Guide and the CBF website. It's a great way to get your organization noticed by the brownfields and redevelopment industries.
- There are great tax benefits too, federal charitable contribution deductions & Colorado Enterprise Zone tax benefits.

- CBF is tax-exempt under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code and is eligible to receive contributions from donors, deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes.
- CBF is approved as a Colorado Enterprise Zone Contribution Project by the Colorado Economic Development Commission and is eligible to provide Colorado state income tax credits for in-kind and cash contributions under Colorado Revised Statutes 39-30-103.5; amount of the credit is 25 percent of the value of the contribution, up to $100,000 in tax credits (12.5% for in-kind contributions up to $50,000 in credit).

$200 | Advisor Level*
- One individual from your organization serves as a representative on the CBF Advisory Council, which meets quarterly.
- The Advisory Council:
- Is comprised of CBF Advisors; representatives from state, local, and federal agencies engaged in environmental protection, economic development, and community development; and the Colorado Brownfields Foundation Board of Directors
- Meeting agendas enable open discussion of industry trends, emerging issues, and collaborative opportunities
- Recognition in the CBF Annual Report
- Discounted sponsorship and exhibit space at the brownfields state conference
- Logo recognition on the CBF website with a link to your website
- Acknowledgement on CBF workshop promotional materials
- Complimentary attendance for up to four people at CBF networking events and workshops
$150 | Benefactor Level

$100 | Contributor Level
