Colorado Brownfields Foundation (CBF) Adds Mark Walker to Project Management Staff
Littleton, CO (March 15, 2010) – CBF proudly announces a new addition to its staff, Mark Walker. Mark joins Colorado Brownfields Foundation as Project Manager after leaving state employment to continue his work in the brownfields arena. Mark formerly coordinated Colorado's Voluntary Cleanup Program, a program of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment since its inception in 1994. Mark also served on a national task force addressing issues unique to voluntary cleanup and state brownfields programs. Prior to joining Colorado's Voluntary Cleanup Program, Mr. Walker worked for three years with Colorado's Underground Storage Tank Program. In the early years of the Brownfields Initiative, he completed an assignment with the EPA Region 8 Brownfields Program. Colorado Brownfields Foundation is proud to welcome Mark Walker to our staff.
Colorado Brownfields Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Colorado nonprofit organization dedicated to removing environmental obstacles to economic and community development. CBF partners with communities, local governments, other non profits, and commercial enterprises to help reuse and redevelop brownfields sites.
